metowe, a for-profit organization, offers a wide range of lifestyle products. Their mission is to empower people and change the world. They are partners with communities in India (Ecuador, Kenya) and Ecuador (India) to provide opportunities to youth and families for better lives.
ME to WE Trips Cost
There are many trips on the WE Charity website that allow North American participants to "step into Maasai warriors in Kenya" or experience a "shamanic ritual and receive hands-on weapon training in Ecuador." These trips include a tour to an "agricultural knowledge centre", a jungle walk, or canoe ride, as well as work on a development initiative.
ME to WE Youth Trips
The ME to WE Youth Trip allows young travelers to get to know the people and communities of WE Charity, a TreadRight supported charity. They will build a school or clean-water system with the local community and participate in leadership workshops.
We Charity Canada has organized many WE Day events, including ones in Vancouver and Calgary. These hashtags, which were related to a specific WE event or a city (#wedayvancouver) have been used to tag several WE Day events. This is evidence that urban-based educational programming can be problematic. These inspiring concerts may be great for students. However, the co-hashtag graph reveals that these programs promote hierarchies that are not previously acknowledged in Canada.
