The Porsche Taycan EV, a forward-looking EV, is undoubtedly one the most innovative on the market. Its bold design is complemented by a comfortable and engaging cabin, while delivering an electric vehicle experience that rivals those of Tesla's Model S.
This all electric SUV is a good choice for those who are looking for an EV which is agile, quick and has exceptional driving dynamics. It doesn't have the same range, however, as some of its peers. However, the Taycan offers super-fast charging, which can overcome its mediocre range.
It's a low, sleek and quick EV that's extremely agile (and surprisingly fun to drive). The Taycan doesn't offer as much comfort as some of its counterparts, but it's extremely quiet on the road making it great for long drives.
The interior of the Taycan features a variety of screens that control everything, from the instrument panel to its infotainment system. There are two touchscreens located in the center console. One is an 8.4 inch screen in front, while the other is a touch-sensitive display that faces towards the driver's side.

Specifications and features
Although the Taycan's standard equipment is very limited, it comes with everything, from satellite navigation to smartphone mirroring. Upgrades to the Bose 14-speaker audio system are also possible. Those upgrades cost $2840.
Stylish and authentic
The Porsche Taycan is designed as a replica of other Porsche models. It is a distinctive, sleek and wind-cheating design, so it will be noticed by anyone who passes it.
It's also a safe ride, which is important for anyone who wants to buy an electric SUV. Euro NCAP gave the Taycan a five-star safety rating. ANCAP has yet to ratify this score.
The Taycan is an excellent choice if you are looking for a luxury electric vehicle that's affordable. This is a relatively recent entry in the segment of battery-powered performance sedans, but it has made a name for its self.
In our tests, it was able to out-accelerate the Tesla Model S. But it's not as fast as the Lucid Air or Audi e-tron GT, and its asking price can be more than twice as high.

Torque and Power
The dual-motor setup of the engine produces a staggering 570 horsepower. This is enough to propel it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds to a top speed at 250km/h. While it's more power than the 370hp offered elsewhere, it's still not enough to match the 520hp of the Nissan EQS or the Tesla Model S's 550hp.
It's still a very impressive figure in terms of acceleration and a major deal for Porsche which is putting its trust on its EV line.
Comfortable and Reliable
The Taycan seats are firm but not enveloping, which is good for spirited driving. They are also well padded and offer excellent lateral support. This is especially useful for long trips in the back.
The Taycan's replete-screen ecosystem and class-leading steering are a major part of its appeal. It feels sporty and sports car-like thanks to these features. The Taycan, with its outstanding handling and amazing agility, is the perfect combination of comfort and performance that Porsche has long sought with their internal-combustion cars.
